If you haven’t noticed already, construction is underway at the North Plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
And if you haven’t heard yet, the space is going to be transformed into a large open area with better seating options, new trees, and night time lighting to illuminate the Gallery’s exterior columns. Exciting!
Set to be completed by February, the project will revamp an area in the city’s downtown core that has long been a popular place for different types of gathering — celebrations, protests and festivals.
