According to the Oxford Dictionary, team building is the action or process of causing a group of people to work together effectively as a team, especially by means of activities and events designed to increase motivation and promote cooperation. In today’s stressful business world, it is especially important for members of corporations or small businesses to have the opportunity to do so outside of work. Team building initiatives come in many shapes and forms but the common goal is to enhance motivation, social interaction, and leadership skills. Whether the objectives are to socialize, boost team performance, promote friendly competition, motivate, collaborate or improve communication, team building exercise is the answer to them. Looking back to 2017 when the Canada Day Drumming Celebration was to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, the event has since evolved into an event that attracts drummers to return year after year. Through this exercise, strangers have turned into friends with a common goal – to set a world record. For the drummers who have stayed with us for three years in a row, we thank you! And we welcome newcomers with open arms as we strive towards an even bigger dream. Our attempt this year will not be limited to one location. Rather, we need the collaboration of the rest of Canada to turn the “Largest Group Drum Roll (multiple venues)” attempt into reality across 11 cities and five time zones. It requires dedication, planning, collaboration, and communication to make this happen. And corporations and small businesses can come on board as teams to help us realize this dream. Register with us today to be part of a successful Guinness World Records™ attempt. Other than the “Officially Amazing”Certificate of Participation, it also comes with bragging rights, lots of fun and, of course, team building! Staff members of sponsors will get the priority to take part in the planning of the attempt. What are you waiting for? 1/14/2024 08:12:18 am
